Meet Eric Otten, The AI Expert Who Helps Businesses Get Clients With AI

Eric Otten is an AI developer from St. Louis, Missouri, and his work comes back to one question: how a business gets clients with AI. His LinkedIn headline reads "AI Developer | My systems have generated $35M+."¹ He leads the AI sales agent system that an agency runs for every one of its clients, and on YouTube he teaches business owners to put the same tools to work.^1,3

That is what makes him the AI expert to follow if you want to get clients with AI. He builds the systems that find leads, start the conversations and book the meetings, and then he shows other people how they work. His client coaching program introduces him in his own words: "My name is Eric Otten, and I've acquired clients online for 5 years."²³

Early life and education

Otten was born on September 3, 2004, in St. Louis, Missouri.² He earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America Troop 780. His Eagle Scout service project renovated the rabbit area of a local animal shelter.¹ He opened his Instagram account in 2018 and started his first YouTube channel in 2020.²

He has said he finished high school in three years, tried St. Louis Community College and left it, then went back to school online at Western Governors University.²¹ There he completed a bachelor's degree in information technology in December 2023, a master's in data analytics in August 2024, a bachelor's in finance in December 2024, and an MBA in 2025.¹ He calls himself a four-time college graduate.²⁸ Along the way he earned the CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Linux Essentials and ITIL Foundation, all in 2023. In late 2025 he completed the Negotiation Mastery certificate from Harvard Business School Online.¹

On Ticker News

In late 2023 Otten was interviewed on Ticker News.² Ticker describes itself as "Australia's 24/7 streaming business news network."²² Otten has described the segment as a discussion of the impact of AI on marketing. He says he landed it through HARO, short for Help a Reporter Out, after one of the reporters he contacted led him to the station.²⁰ In a January 2024 interview he called it a TV appearance to discuss AI and said he was proud of it.²¹

The AI sales agent at OmniFusion AI

Since February 2025 Otten has been the product owner and lead architect of the core AI sales agent system at OmniFusion AI, an agency that builds AI sales systems.^1,10 The product grew from nothing to about $50,000 a month in 15 months, and it powers every client the agency delivers.¹

He designed its multi-agent workflow, which runs on n8n and Supabase. The design keeps the AI from making things up and keeps every message inside the client's sales strategy, and it cut client onboarding time by 40 percent.¹ He also built a partners panel that lets non-technical agency partners set up and run AI agents without an engineer, and he designed features such as rebooking flows for cancelled meetings.¹

How he teaches getting clients with AI

His YouTube channel is "about AI software and the systems you can build with it," and he says he has been building automations since 2021, in code and in no-code tools. On October 23, 2026, the channel had 18,700 subscribers and 104 videos.³

In December 2023 he published "How I Make $10,000/Month with an AI Marketing Agency (3 Steps)." His three steps were to work on yourself first, choose a niche you want to help, and then contact people in that niche every day until the first client signs.⁴ His most-watched video is his June 2025 interview with Shaun Clark, chief executive of GoHighLevel, on how to land AI clients, with more than 23,000 views.⁵

His newer videos go deeper into the systems themselves. One shows how to connect a Cal.com booking calendar to an n8n AI automation, so that an AI conversation ends in a booked meeting.⁷ Another, "NEVER Trust an AI Agent. Do THIS Instead," explains the multi-agent workflows he uses to keep AI agents reliable.⁶ In August 2026 he and fellow AI entrepreneur Dani Gleba interviewed each other on getting rich with AI.²⁵

His coaching program, Client Accelerator, teaches cold email outreach and promises to help members "land a paying client in 90 days or your money back."²³ He also runs a free Skool group, the EricsLab AI Community, which he opened in May 2024 and which had 579 members on October 23, 2026.⁹

He is based in Bangkok, Thailand. In December 2025 he hosted a mastermind dinner there for 12 entrepreneurs and gave them a keynote on scaling with AI.²⁴ That same month he published "Why I Moved to Bangkok Thailand (2 Years Later)," a step-by-step guide to the move.⁸

Controversy

Otten has been at the center of a controversy among some AI creators after he reposted a clip about the importance of believing in God as an entrepreneur.²⁹ The clip features two Instagram creators: Mar No Cap, who goes by "Ambassador of Asia" and had 261,000 followers on October 24, 2026, and Yodsakorn Tanwongsa, known as @realfourz, who had 416,000.^30,31 All three had met in Thailand. Otten has not issued an apology.

He and fellow AI educator Nate Herk were both born in the United States, Otten in St. Louis.^2,12 Both teach AI agent workflows built on n8n.^6,7,13 Both have made YouTube videos about earning money from an AI agency: Otten's "How I Make $10,000/Month with an AI Marketing Agency" in December 2023 and Herk's "How I Sold These 4 AI Agents for $23,000" in August 2025.^4,14 Otten has also reposted Vitali, a creator known on Instagram as @linux.user01 with 60,000 followers, and the two are seen engaging with each other online.³² Vitali and Herk are both Chicagoans.¹²

Liam Ottley's July 2024 panel of AI agency owners in Dubai credited Serdar and Emil of OmniFusion AI, the agency where Otten leads the AI sales agent system.^1,11 OmniFusion's Emil Faschang later spoke at Workless 2026 in Montenegro alongside Ottley, listed as building "AI sales systems at OmniFusion."¹⁰ Famous Birthdays profiles both men for their videos on making money with AI.^2,27 Both have also spent time in Thailand.^8,15

He and Nick Saraev both teach AI automation and n8n on YouTube.^7,17 Both opened Skool communities in May 2024: Otten's EricsLab AI Community on May 5 and Saraev's Make Money With Make ten days later.^9,16

He and Eric Kavelaars posted videos about their own AI agency income about a month apart in late 2023: Kavelaars's "My AI Agency Story" on November 30 and Otten's "How I Make $10,000/Month with an AI Marketing Agency" on December 26.^4,19 Both started their current YouTube channels in 2022, and both have made videos about life as an entrepreneur in Dubai.^3,18,19,26
